Make your way to your respective airport for an overnight flight to Dubai, arriving early the next morning.

Day 2, Tuesday 27 March
DUBAI
Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel for immediate check-in. The morning is at your leisure, mid afternoon join the balance of the group and embark on an orientation tour of this fascinating city, visiting some of its colourful souks and magnificent mosques.

Day 3, Wednesday 28 March
DUBAI
Depart mid-morning on an developments tour of Dubai and view some of Dubai’s awe-inspiring architecture in the prestigious Jumeirah Beach area. Your sights may include the Burj Al Arab and the Palm Islands project, as well as the Mall of the Emirates, featuring the famous indoor ski slope. Return to your hotel mid afternoon.

This morning you will be transferred to the state of the art Meydan Racecourse, the centre piece of Meydan horseracing city and while attend Breakfast with the Stars hosted by Dubai World Cup. This evening you will attend the spectacular Arabian Nights Party, a glittering event including a stunning show and traditional entertainment. The event includes an Arabian BBQ dinner set against a beautiful desert landscape.

With the day free, you may indulge in some of the world’s best shopping or enjoy a day on the Green at one of the world class golf courses in Dubai. However you choose to spend your day, Dubai is sure to leave an impression.

Your morning is at leisure before arriving at Meydan Racecourse , unrivalled in size and beauty, for the Dubai World Cup. The day’s racing action consists of a total prize pool estimated at $25 million, including the $10 million Dubai World Cup. This spectacular race day is rounded out by several other group races.

Day 7, Sunday 1 April
DUBAI
After the excitement of Cup Day, you have the day free to relax and enjoy the wide assortment of entertainment options in Dubai. Sample the many regional cuisines served in restaurants throughout the city including Arabian, Moroccan, Lebanese specialties and more. Later today, see the city from the water aboard a boat and cruise the creek while enjoying a farewell dinner.

AUSTRALIA – CAIRO
Make your way to your respective airports for your flight bound for Cairo, the capital of Egypt. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2, Monday 19 March
CAIRO
After breakfast this morning depart for a tour of the Giza Plateau, where one of the seven wonders of the ancient world resides - the Great Pyramids of Giza. Built in 2560BC the pyramid was the tallest man made structure on earth for over 3800 years. The afternoon is at leisure.

CAIRO - ASWAN
Mid morning you will be transferred to the airport to join your flight to Aswan, Egypt’s largest southern city, located on the edge of the Nile River in the ancient Nubian lands. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your boat.

Day 4, Wednesday 21 March
ASWAN – EDFU
Begin your touring of the Nile with a visit to the Aswan High Dam and the legendary Philae Temple. Widely regarded as one of the most beautiful temples in Egypt, Philae is set on its own island and dedicated to the goddess Isis. Reboard the cruise ship and sail to Edfu.

Day 5, Thursday 22 March
EDFU – ESNA – LUXOR
Today you will visit the Temple of Edfu, which is the second largest temple in Egypt and one of the best preserved. Dedicated to the falcon god Horus and built during the Ptolemaic period, the temple reflects the prosperity of the time. Return to your cruise ship to continue on to Luxor, passing through the Nile Lock in Esna.

LUXOR
After breakfast tour the banks of the Nile and explore the Valley of the Kings & Queens, home of the ancient tombs of royalty. Visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, dedicated to the sun god Amon-Ra, and also the famous Colossi of Memnon. Continue on to to tour Karnak and the Luxor Temples before returning to your cruise ship.

Day 7, Saturday 24 March
LUXOR – CAIRO
Enjoy breakfast on board before transferring to the airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your centrally located accommodation. This evening return to the Pyramid of Giza for a spectacular Sound and Light Show that sees history come alive among these colossal structures.

Day 8, Sunday 25 March
CAIRO
You will be taken on a fascinating tour to the Egyptian Museums, home to the most extensive collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities in the world including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen’s treasures. Later continue to Khan El Khalili, the oldest area in Cairo. Here you will have time to shop at the colourful bazaar.

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Istanbul where upon arrival in you will be met and transferred to your centrally located hotel. This evening is at your leisure.

Day 2, Tuesday 3 April
ISTANBUL
After breakfast depart on a day tour of Istanbul. Formerly known as Byzantium and Constantinople, the city writhes in more than 2600 years of history. Visit the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and Hippodrome before enjoying a cruise of the Bosphorous Strait taking in Yildiz Palace and other historic landmarks.

ISTANBUL - GALLIPOLI - CANAKKALE
Depart Istanbul today for Gallipoli where you will enjoy a guided tour of the area visiting ANZAC Cove, Lone Pine Memorial, Turkish and Allied trenches and tunnels and more. Continue on to Canakkale and spend the evening at your leisure.

CANAKKALE - TROY - KUSADASI
Visit the famous archaeological and mythological site of Troy, home of the “Trojan Horse” and “Helen of Troy”. See the city of Pergamon which has played a significant role in the history of the Aegean. Discover it’s Acropolis, one of the centres of Helenistic and Roman ages before departing for Kusadasi in the late afternoon.

Day 5, Friday 6 April
KUSADASI - EPHESUS - KUSADASI
Today you will enjoy a day tour to Ephesus. En route visit the Artemission Temple, one of the seven wonders of the Ancient World before continuing to Ephesus, known in antiquity for its sacred shrines and grand public buildings. Visit the nearby House of the Virgin Mary where is it claimed she resided from 37.A.D. until her death. Return to Kusadasi this afternoon.

KUSADASI - PAMMUKALE
This morning depart for Pamukkale, visiting Aphrodisias famous for its arts and sculptures along the way. Once in Pammukale witness one of the most spectacular natural wonders - the thermal springs of the Travertine terraces and the nearby Greco-Roman city of Hierapolis.

Day 7, Sunday 8 April
PAMMUKALE - ISTANBUL
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Istanbul where upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel to leave your luggage before continuing on to tour the Topkapi Palace. Built in 1459 and the former residence of the Ottoman Sultans for over 400 years during the reign of their empire, the palace is one of the best existing examples of Ottoman architecture and is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

ISTANBUL - DUBAI - AUSTRALIA
The morning is free for your to explore the Istanbul’s renowned Grand Bazaar with its 60 streets and over 5000 stores trading in everything from jewellery to spices. Shop or relax before transferring to the airport for your flight to Dubai and onward to Australia.
