Arrive in Lexington today, upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 2, Thursday 3 May
LEXINGTON
This morning you will attend the open house at Three Chimneys stud farm, which includes a parade of stallions. Continue the afternoon on a Horse Farm Tour taking a behind the scenes look at Keeneland Racecourse, famous for its prominence in thoroughbred sales. Stopover at one of the area’s most renowned stud farms before visiting Old Friend’s Farm, the world’s only retirement home for thoroughbred stallions. This evening join the Welcome Reception and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant with other guests.

Day 3, Friday 4 May
LEXINGTON
Spend today at your leisure in magnificent Bluegrass country. You may choose to relax in your hotel, take advantage of the excellent golf facilities in Lexington, shop downtown or make a visit to Kentucky Horsepark.

Day 4, Saturday 5 May
LEXINGTON
This morning you will depart for Churchill Downs and attend the spectacular Kentucky Derby. One of the United States oldest thoroughbred races, known as “The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports”, this spectacular day of racing and tradition is the first leg of the Triple Crown and has been run for 136 years. Enjoy the day’s action once again from your Grandstand seating before returning to your hotel at days’ end.

After checking out this morning continue on with your own arrangements or extend your travels further thought the United States with the help of Ambassador Travel’s experienced consultants.

Run across a distance of 1and 1/8th miles, this Group 1 race is for three year old thoroughbred fillies. At the completion of the day you will be returned to your hotel.

Today is at your leisure to take in the picturesque town of Banff, nestled in the foothills of the mighty Candaian Rocky Mountains. BANFF - KAMLOOPS
Board the Rocky Mountaineer for your scenic journey westward through the Rockies to Kamloops. Travel through Banff & Yoho National Parks and Rogers Pass into British Columbia.

KAMLOOPS - VANCOUVER
Continue your Rocky Mountaineer experience from Kamloops to Vancouver. Follow the Thompson River and pass through Fraser Canyon and Fraser Valley. Enjoy all that Vancouver has to offer by night or relax at your hotel for the evening.
