The Spring Racing Carnival is a feast for racing fans, with the Tatts Cox Plate, AAMI Victoria Derby, Emirates Melbourne Cup and Crown Oaks Day being just a sample of the superb racing you can experience throughout the carnival. With the stakes once again over a whopping $6 million the action this year is set to be as competitive as ever.
This year 'the race that stops a nation'™ is set to be one of the most spectacular social events in Australia once again.

Mid-morning transfer to Flemington Racecourse for the opening day of the Melbourne Cup Carnival. AAMI Victoria Derby Day is considered by most racing purists to be the best single day of thoroughbred racing in Australia, if not the world. Enjoy this feast of racing action from your reserved undercover Hill Stand seat. At the conclusion of the card you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Today is at leisure, or you may join our optional day tour to the renowned Chatswood Stud, an Australian owned thoroughbred stud farm that stands various stallions including Racer’s Edge and Neillo just to name a few. This will be followed by a visit to Glen Erin Vineyard which is set in the beautiful and undulating hills of the Macedon Ranges. Here you will enjoy lunch and entertainment, before returning to your hotel later this afternoon and the evening is at your leisure.

Alternatively, travel along the famous Great Ocean Road on a Gray Line Tour and see one of the most majestic coastlines in the world.
