BRISBANE / SYDNEY – DARWIN
This morning make your way to your Domestic Airport for your flight to Darwin. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel with your evening at leisure.

Day 2, Friday 30 July
DARWIN
This morning you will join a sightseeing tour of Darwin and sights may include Fannie Bay Gaol, the Chinese Temple, Darwin Wharf Precinct, Cullen Bay, Northern Territory Museum, East Point Reserve, and the lush Botanical Gardens. Later this afternoon, enjoy a harbour cruise with more delightful Northern Territory sights before returning to the hotel in the evening.

Day 3, Saturday 31 July
DARWIN
After breakfast and a morning at leisure, you will depart from the hotel and transfer to the Fannie Bay Racetrack for a great day at the races! The day features the Palmerston Sprint, and you can view the action from either the Members Grandstand or Lawn. This evening, you have the option of attending the Darwin Turf Club Gala Ball, featuring world class entertainment.

Day 4, Sunday 1 August
DARWIN
Today is a free day for you to explore Darwin and its surrounding areas. You may choose to enjoy the fun and games at the Calcutta Luncheon held on the lawns in front of the Fannie Bay Racetrack Grandstand. Or perhaps join one of our optional tours including a Barramundi Fishing Tour and a Kakadu Full Day Tour.

Day 5, Monday 2 August
DARWIN
This morning you have time to study the form before being transferred to Fannie Bay once again for a superb day of racing. Darwin Cup Day is the richest day of thoroughbred racing in the north and is the pinnacle of a unique and exciting racing carnival often referred to as a ‘Mini Melbourne Cup’. Enjoy the racing from the inside running marquee. At the conclusion of the card you will be returned to your hotel.

Day 6, Tuesday 3 August
DARWIN – KAKADU
Depart Darwin early this morning and travel deep into Kakadu National Park to view Aboriginal rock art at Nourlangie Rock with our Guide. After lunch, you will enjoy a cruise on the famous Yellow Water Billabong to observe the salt water crocodiles before visiting the Warrandjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre and learning about the aboriginal traditions. You will be transferred back to the hotel at the end of the day.

Day 7, Wednesday 4 August
KAKADU – DARWIN
This morning we will make a stop at Ubirr to view aboriginal rock art, believed to be 20,000 years old. This is followed by a Guluyambi Cruise along the East Alligator River in search of salt water crocodiles. With an aboriginal guide along and special permission from the local people, we will be able to go ashore in Arnhem Land and visit the Bowali Visitor Centre. After the tour you will travel back to Darwin for an overnight stay.
