Cup Eve Dinner

The Melbourne Crown Casino will be the host to our annual exclusive Ambassador Cup Eve Dinner. Experience a fantastic evening of when you join one of our Melbourne Cup Tours!

What better way to prepare for the race that stops the nation than to attend this very special event in the company of fellow racing enthusiasts and our special guests!

Your evening will include a delicious 3-course meal served with beverages and a plentiful supply of fun throughout the evening, with sweeps, phantom calls, and numerous prizes to be won. The dinner will be accompanied by entertainment as well as live music.

The Crown Casino Complex also provides an array of entertainment options and you will be free to indulge yourself after the Cup Even Dinner.

Might & Power Tour

Day 1, Friday 29 October
BRISBANE / SYDNEY – MELBOURNE
Make your way to the domestic airport for your flight to Melbourne. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your centrally located hotel. This evening, you are invited to join your fellow travellers at our ‘Spring Carnival Welcome Drinks’.

Day 2, Saturday 30 October
MELBOURNE
Mid-morning transfer to Flemington Racecourse for the opening day of the Melbourne Cup Carnival. The day has a total prize pool of $4.17 million spread over 9 races, including the Group 1 AAMI Victoria Derby. Enjoy this feast of racing action from your reserved undercover Hillstand seat. At the conclusion of the card you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 3, Sunday 31 October
MELBOURNE
Today is at leisure, and you may join our Living Legends & Cuckoo Restaurant Tour, which includes a visit to the Living Legends, home of rest for champion horses and lunch at the Cuckoo Restaurant in the spectacular Dandenong Ranges. Alternatively join the Blue Dandenongs and Yarra Valley Wineries Tour and enjoy a day of wine-tasting, mountain scenery and lunch at Fergusson’s Winery.

Day 4, Monday 1 November
MELBOURNE
With no scheduled program during the day, you may spend the day watching the Cup Parade, do some shopping, or join an optional day tour. This evening, you will be transferred to our exclusive Cup Eve Dinner held at the Crown Casino. Enjoy a great evening of entertainment, dinner, interviews with racing personalities, and Wayne Wilson’s phantom call of this great race. Certainly an evening to remember in preparation for the race that stops the nation.

Day 5, Tuesday 2 November
MELBOURNE
Transfer to Flemington Racecourse to bask in the excitement and atmosphere of Australia’s richest and most famous race day. The $5.1 million Emirates Melbourne Cup is a gruelling 3200m race that literally brings the entire country to a standstill. History was created in 2005 by the legendary Makybe Diva who won her third consecutive Cup, and the action this year can only get better!

Day 6, Wednesday 3 November
MELBOURNE
Once again you have a day to enjoy at your leisure in this charming city. You may wish to join a day tour provided by Grayline – one of Australia’s leading coach tour companies, and visit some of the most scenic attractions in Victoria including the Grampians or the spectacular sights along the Great Ocean Road! Alternatively, you may make your own way to Kyneton for the running of the Kyneton Cup.

Day 7, Thursday 4 November
MELBOURNE
Make a fashion statement with those creative hats for Ladies Day at Flemington Racecourse on Oaks Day, before enjoying the running of the three year old fillies in the Crown Casino Oaks. After this exciting day filled with colour and tradition, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 8, Friday 5 November
MELBOURNE – BRISBANE / SYDNEY
This morning you will be transferred to Tullamarine Airport for your return flight home. This concludes your 2010 Melbourne Cup Carnival Tour with us.
