The Oakbank Easter Carnival is known to Australians as ‘the Biggest Picnic Race Meeting on Earth’, and we would like to invite you to join us for a weekend of racing in Adelaide that you will never forget!

Located in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia, you will discover the atmosphere of a Country Racing Carnival that rivals the Melbourne Cup in size and colour with a crowd of over 100,000 during two fantastic days of racing and fun. Easter Saturday alone attracts more than 45,000 spectactors and sets the scene for a fantastic carnival.

It’s not just the fun and excitement of being at Oakbank over Easter but the racing includes such time-honoured events like the Von Doussa Steeplechase, the Oakbank Stakes and the highlight event the Great Eastern Steeplechase over a gruelling 4950 metres. This carnival provides something for everyone from racing fans to partygoers, it is a weekend not to be missed!
